Office Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Manager, ideally with an accountancy or legal firm background.

Reporting directly to the Managing Partner and senior management team, the successful candidate will play a leading role in the future development of our forward thinking and friendly firm.

The role will require a knowledge of the following areas:

  • Finance administration and reporting, including targets, forecasts and budgets
  • ICAEW Member firm Compliance duties
  • HR management, including processes and employee development
  • Setting marketing plans and strategy, including Website and social media management
  • Client communications and PR
  • Streamlining processes and systems to ensure best practice, efficiency and profitability
  • Supplier management and contract negotiation
  • Building and facilities management
  • General admin

The role is full-time and offers an excellent opportunity for career development.  Our client base includes many farming, equine and rural clients in addition to sole traders, high net worth individuals and directors.

Probate & Estate Administration Assistant

Our thriving probate department has an opportunity for a Probate & Estate Administration Assistant with legal training.

This position could suit a solicitor who has retired from a busy position to a more part-time capacity or perhaps someone who is working as a locum or carrying out a part-time legal function and would like to take on straightforward probate work. Under ICAEW rules we cannot carry out contentious probate so the work is of a routine nature.

This is a very good opportunity for somebody seeking a part-time position. Salary is robust market rate and will depend on experience and qualifications.
